New Golf Galaxy store worth the drive

Golf Galaxy, a chain of "interactive golf superstores," will open its Houston location next week:
The 15,000-square-foot store, located at 1429 W. Bay Area Blvd., will offer collections of golf equipment, apparel and accessories for all skill levels, including such brands as Callaway Golf, TaylorMade, Cobra, Cleveland, Titleist and Nike Golf.
The stores' hands-on attractions will include an electronic golf simulator that allows players to test their skills on famous golf courses, an indoor driving bay, a full-sized bent-grass putting green, hi-tech ball launch monitor technology for advanced club fitting and a PGA area with computer video swing analysis. On-staff PGA professionals offer lessons and answer questions about equipment and club fitting.
As a terrible golfer, I welcome the chance to see all manner of products that could help my game, if I could only afford them. Seriously, though, this place sounds pretty amazing. It should do well, considering how much golf this city plays.
