Local tavern to sell pints for tsunami relief

I got this email today from the folks at the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium, a really good place to have a brew:

For the past ten days we have witnessed with awe and wonder how nature can have such a devastating effect on human life--especially when it comes to children being separated from their parents and families. So, this February we are forgoing our traditional Valentine’s Pint Glass, (was going to be Scott and Amber) and in a real effort to contribute, the Flying Saucer is asking it’s family of Beerknurds to really pitch in and help. If you have not donated yet, we are asking you to consider joining us by purchasing a Flying Saucer pint glass to help us raise $60,000 for UNICEF. Our goal is to sell 300 pint glasses (with beer in them) from YOUR SAUCER or $20 each, with 100% of the sales going to UNICEF, which is working to keep children alive with an emphasis on clean water, adequate sanitation, basic nutrition and medical care. Buy one , buy twenty, but please help us raise this money.

Yeah, I know, it's for a U.N. agency. But in times of horrific tragedy, we really should put politics aside and help out. If you're so inclined, stop by 705 Main Street and tie one on for the kids.
