Today, the Chronicle terrifies the residents of this fair city by recounting the inhuman brutality of Abu Ghraib:
A Syrian combatant who claims he was abused at Baghdad's Abu Ghraib prison said an accused U.S. soldier...offended his Islamic faith by making him eat pork, drink alcohol and thank Jesus for being alive, testimony in the soldier's court-martial showed Tuesday.
Meat, booze and prayer: a demonic triad of unimaginable agony and suffering. If that's torture, then I'm one hell of a masochist.
